Fiscal cliff and our...elected officials...

How discouraging to see Speaker Boehner say that "Obamacare" needs to be on the table for compromise in the "fiscal cliff" discussion.....umm....WHAT?! This guy is either a complete moron, he has selective amnesia and forgot what happened this election, or he is just working for his own personal agenda....and not concerned about what will happen if they do not come to an agreement---huh...maybe all 3? It is said that they will still have time to fix the problem if we do do fall off that fiscal cliff....but come on!!! This is getting ridiculous...as if it already wasn't. Ha! But I think we can all agree as Americans that many of these men are not working for the people...every poll I have seen says the people want higher taxes on the wealthy as part of this fiscal agenda...in addition...NO polls indicate that Obamacare should be thrown in for compromise on raising those taxes on the top 2%! It is just ridiculous.

I am reading "Team of Rivals" and it is amazing the platform Republicans had when the party started and how it has completely changed. I would have been a Republican in the 1850-1860's! :) haha. But the Republican party today is....struggling! I wish there was a way to speed track the party's recovery and have a more balanced society once more. I don't think everyone should be a Democrat...there needs to be balance...but our current teeter-tottering is not healthy for America. We have extreme right wingers sending us all in an uncontrollable spin...in my opinion.
We need to nominate more moderate people...and yes, Pres. Obama a decade  or more ago would have been considered moderate...even to Republicans...but today he is considered to be extreme?! He is not. He is moderate. There has not been a moderate Republican in public eye for some time...I think McCain was probably the most moderate...and he was only moderate on social issues.

Come on Speaker Boehner and men and women in congress...get this thing done!! And Mr. President we are counting on you to show both compromise and backbone. A tough thing to do but I am sure if ego is set aside every elected official could achieve it for the good of the rest of Americans.

Follow the smell of pizza--I mean, greed!

We are done with Papa John's! We have a free pizza from points...and then DONE! And this is why...first there was this  CLICK HERE  or copy this link http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/02/mitt-romney-papa-john-video_n_1471720.html

Then this.... CLICK HERE  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/07/papa-johns-obamacare-pizza_n_1752126.html

Now the truth is out!! CLICK HERE  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/13/papa-johns-obamacare_n_2123207.html

Greedy much??!!! IF THIS INFO IS TRUE... This is why I do not care when people say..."But it hurts businesses...they have to pay so much more for insurance..."   IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! And plenty...like Papa John will exploit this good act to WHAT ELSE!? Put more money in their own greedy pockets! Oh...wanna see where Papa John lives?!
I am all for success....free enterprise...PLEASE do not get me wrong! But this guy says he can't afford to pay the employees' health care...he would have to raise the price of pizza $0.04! He claims it is $0.15 and he will pocket that extra money...maybe expand his quaint little home...or one of his other homes...sick! We have an epidemic of greed! People die bc they can't afford the costs of health care without insurance...and then there is this idiot. I will gladly boycott this one...I hope others will join me! I would rather he go out of business--though I hate to think of those many people who would lose their jobs--So it is a tough spot. I just don't think I can stomach that pizza anymore, though. Just like Walmart...who pays their employees pennies...and yet they could afford to pay much more. I will avoid both businesses just on an ethical platform...however, now is not the time I guess for more people to lose employment...Not that Walmart would EVER go out of business!

Also you might want to check out this AWESOMENESS by none other than my favorite news reporter...Jim Stewart. I laughed so hard...it felt so good! I seriously can't remember when I laughed that hard. I needed that today! Since all I have had today is car repair stress and whiny sick kids...this made my afternoon much better...that and President Obama is STILL President. Seriously, though...Republican or Democrat it is funny (if you can laugh at your own party/Fox News). Click HERE

Oh the laughter...my sides! My sides!  "Is this math you do as a Republican to make you feel better" (BEST NEW slogan for Fox News)!

I love waking up knowing Pres Obama will keep his seat for 4 more years!

I know I cannot be the only one who was shocked into the realization that when people see things totally differently...it is just bc we have different perspectives! I am fascinated by this now...I still can't wrap my mind arround the perspective that the President will some how get rid of freedoms...that he some how is someone to fear and that somehow people seem to believe all the fear mongering. Obviously I am not speaking to the well educated and well informed who simply don't agree with basic Democrat policy.  That is a different issue. I am referring to people who are so ashamedly misinformed that it is quite frightening--and I try to steer clear of anything that plays with my emotions or makes fear a motivator. But some people really are scary in America. Having said that...even though our country has issues which include a split in political sides, debt that needs to be addressed, fear mongering men and women on tv and radio, hatred, racism, sexism, bigotry, intolerance, greed, selfishness, immorality, anger, so many uneducated, lies, "uncivility"--not sure that is a word, but I like it-- and much more. . . I sure feel better knowing that President Obama is still our President...a man with squeaky clean background, a love for this country, an understanding of Americans, a compassionate man, a wonderful father and husband, an educated man who is very smart, a man who will go down in history for many things...he is a President who has inspired volunteer efforts his first years in office, he inspired activism and awareness...he and the American people will not stand for elected officials who try to define rape or push their ideology or beliefs on the rest of us....I am proud to be an American. I always will be...but today my heart has a lot more joy in it knowing that the President I voted for...vouched for, debated for and fought for earned his seat for another 4 years. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. President...but more importantly, congratulations AMERICA!
Here is a fun little thing about perspectives...what do you see in this picture? An old woman or a young woman? :) Ah, perspectives...isn't it great we all have our own perspective! :)

INTENSE!!!!

Poll watching has never been so intense for me! It certainly felt good to vote today...I guess Bailey voted in her kindergarten class and guess who she voted for..? Keep in mind I never told her who I was voting for...you guessed it Barack Obama...why? BC "They live in a white house and have a dog." So sweet. And Jack said, "I voted today, too!" ME: What did you vote for? Jack: "TOYS!!!"
I love my kids...I love this country...I love that our President will keep his seat.....PLEASE....RIGHT?! I can't take it!

Mr. bipartisan?

In this article HERE...you will find this quote:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Friday that it was “laughable” that Romney is promoting bipartisanship and that Democrats will help him pass his agenda if he’s elected president.
“Mitt Romney’s fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his ‘severely conservative’ agenda is laughable,” Reid said in a statement, referring to the GOPer’s declaration earlier during the campaign season that he was “severely conservative.”

I think not. Harry Reid thinks not...people in Mass think not...Mr. Romney is not both SEVERELY conservative and yet bipartisan and able to work well with everyone. Ask the people he worked with in Mass!
